A 14-year-old boy presented with a growth on his left eye that had been there since birth and led to mild visual disturbance, sensation of a foreign body, and cosmetic disfigurement. There was no family history of similar lesions. Examination revealed a solid, brownish-yellow, ovoid mass with partly keratinized epithelium involving the inferotemporal limbus and one third of the cornea. No associated regional or systemic abnormalities were found. Visual acuity was 6/6 in the right eye and 6/18 (20/60) in the left eye. The findings on slit-lamp examination, funduscopy, and ocular ultrasonography were within normal limits, and intraocular pressure was normal
